Financial advice to owner providing financial insight to assist in making sound business decisions.
-Responsible for review of financial information; prepare monthly P&L, balance sheet and prepares analysis of risks and opportunities.
-Responsible for month-end and year-end close processes, including monthly journal entries and maintaining the general ledger and subsidiary ledgers (AP, AR, Fixed Assets, etc.)
– Responsible for banking activities including but not limited to securing project based funding, bank reconciling items, banking fees, etc. Coordinate and resolve various issues with bank such as cleared check differences, bank fee anomalies, targeted balance calculations and enhancements to online services.
-Monitor and review day-to-day AP, AR, and payroll operations
-Ensures the financial records of the business are accurate and that appropriate controls are in place and followed.
