Jeff's professional journey commenced in the financial reporting group at O'Brien & Gere, which has since evolved into Ramboll. His dedication and talent quickly became apparent as he navigated the intricate world of financial reporting with finesse.
1. Global Expertise: A pivotal moment in Jeff's career led him to Charlotte, where he embraced an international corporate accounting position at Globe Express Services. Working closely with the Controller and CFO, he provided invaluable insights through monthly financial reporting packages. His contribution extended to implementing the NetSuite Accounting System across subsidiaries in an impressive 32 countries, showcasing his aptitude for managing complex financial landscapes.
2. Return to Syracuse: An opportunity beckoned Jeff back to Syracuse, where he assumed the role of Controller for a couple of years, further enriching his financial expertise. It was during this period that he recognized the need for accessible, high-quality accounting services in the community.
3. Key Advising Emerges: In 2016, Jeff Keeler embarked on an entrepreneurial journey, founding Key Advising. His vision was clear: to create a hub of Accounting and Fractional CFO Services that could support multiple businesses in the community, helping them thrive through financial expertise and strategic guidance.
